Which Razor Scooter Is Best For Four Year Old

Alan Guth

Alan Guth (New Brunswick (New Jersey), February 27, 1947) is an American physicist and cosmologist.

Guth has done research in the theory of elementary particles and how this theory applies in the first instants of the Universe.

Guth developed for the first time the idea of inflation in 1979 at Stanford University after attending a lecture by Robert Dicke in the Big Bang. In 1981 he formally proposed the idea of cosmic inflation, a nascent universe passed through a phase of exponential expansion that was driven da una densità di energia del vuoto positiva (pressione del vuoto negativa). Nel 2006 i risultati di WMAP confermarono la teoria dell'inflazione cosmica. Guth è Victor F. Weisskopf Professor of Physics al Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
